Our Story Starts in early 1995

SOFTECH System and Solution’s historical activities, according to the information available, illustrate a long-standing commitment to public education and digital inclusion in India:

Specialized Training: SOFTECH has also offered free computer hardware courses with free certificates for engineering students since 1995 and provides cybersecurity classes and government certification for students under the Digital India’s Common Service Centres (CSC) scheme.

Pioneering Awareness Campaigns (1990s): In 1995, SOFTECH began offering free computer courses and conducted public awareness seminars on emerging technologies like the internet, even organizing sessions in marriage halls to maximize reach. In 1999, the institution held seminars specifically addressing the public concern over the “Y2K” or millennium bug problem.

Rural Education Initiatives: SOFTECH facilitated training for Computer Society of India (CSI) and DOEACC (now NIELIT) courses for rural students. They reportedly achieved higher pass rates than the national average and took initiatives to support students by arranging transportation, food, and accommodation near exam centers, eventually working to establish exam centers closer to district headquarters.

Community Partnerships: The institution collaborated with organizations like the Lions Club to offer free courses in Office Automation, Desktop Publishing, and Computer Hardware for financially weak students, also assisting with placement services.

Digital India Campaign: More recently, SOFTECH participated in the government’s “Digital India” campaign, providing digital literacy classes to the public (specifically in 2018), creating two model digital villages, and offering free software developer training with global certification and MNC placement assistance for underprivileged students.
